This listing is for the ring or necklace/pendant which serves as the vessel for the lovely, endearing, healing Aumakua.  Aumakuas, are the most well-known, and celebrated, in the Hawaiian culture.  They are deeply rooted in nature and the gods and goddesses connected to nature.  They inhabit everything in nature, similar to the Kami of Shinto, from the Japanese culture.  Shinto gods are called Kami.  They are sacred spirits associated with mountains, trees, sea creatures, and animals of all kinds.  They are great protectors of families, often their own, but not always. 

The Aumakua also serve as Psychopompoi.  Psychopompoi are spirits, angels, or deities, found in many religions, whose responsibilities are to escort newly deceased souls from Earth to the spirit realm. 

They are always on guard, full of love and light, and provide a wonderful feeling of safety, Gaia, and the warmth of past loved ones who look upon us with wisdom and love.
